Our Sound

Edge plays favorites from classic rockers through current artists, featuring perennial crowd-pleasers sprinkled with deeper cuts sure to surprise and delight. Dave plays keys, Stuart plays guitar, and both sing over self-produced backing tracks that give the duo a full ensemble sound.

Depending on your event or venue objectives and the pulse of the audience, Edge can provide an eclectic program of listening music or deliver the full punch of a party band filling the dance floor. With its compact setup, Edge is as comfortable occupying a corner of the room as it is on a full stage.

Our Music

Our History

Dave and Stuart have been playing music together for over 25 years. With other high school buddies they started Edge in north Atlanta many decades ago as a full 5-piece rock band. In the late 80s as the full band dissolved, Dave and Stuart continued playing together as a duo making use of the latest music technology, including sequencers, synthesizers, and drum machines, to maintain a full sound in spite of playing with just two people. When Stuart moved out of state in the mid ‘00s to work for a music industry company, Dave sang and played keyboards with several Atlanta area bands until the pair reunited musically a few years ago.

In their current incarnation of Edge, Dave and Stuart continue the tradition of using the latest technology to combine their live vocals, keys, and guitar chops with custom backing tracks to create the excitement and authenticity of live music yet with the full sound of a stage-full of musicians.
